HMS Redmill was a frigate of the Buckley-class destroyer escort, operated by the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number K554. Her keel was laid at Bethlehem-Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Massachusetts on 14 July 1943. She entered service on 30 November 1943, having been launched on 2 October 1943.

Her class ran to 98 ships. The class followed the Evarts-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the Cannon-class destroyer escort.

Displacement was 1,400 long tons. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.2 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 24 knots, and she carried a complement of 186.

Her main battery was three 76 mm (3 in) guns.

She served with the United States Navy as unnamed (DE-89) until 7 February 1947. She then passed to the Royal Navy, serving as HMS Redmill (K554) from 30 November 1943. She was in commission for 516 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 7 February 1947.

She was sunk on 27 April 1945, at 57°09′N 6°55′W. The wreck survives.
