HMS Relentless was a R-class destroyer, operated by the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number H85. John Brown & Company, Clydebank, Yard No.590 laid her keel on 20 June 1941. Launched on 15 July 1942, she entered service on 30 November 1942.

Nine ships of the class were built.

Displacement was 1,705 long tons standard and 2,425 long tons at full load. She measured 109.2 m (358 ft) long with a beam of 10.9 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 176. Her main battery was of 40 mm (1.6 in) calibre.

She was in commission for 1,009 days of the Second World War.

She was broken up for scrap in 1971.
