HMS Rocket was a R-class destroyer, operated by the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number H92. Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Greenock laid her keel on 14 March 1941. She entered service on 4 August 1943, having been launched on 28 October 1942.

Nine ships of the class were built.

Displacement was 1,705 long tons standard and 2,425 long tons at full load. She measured 109.2 m (358 ft) long with a beam of 10.9 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 176. Her main battery was of 40 mm (1.6 in) calibre.

She was in commission for 760 days of the Second World War.

She was broken up for scrap in 1967.
