HMS Shah was a escort carrier of the Bogue-class escort carrier (US) in service with the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number D21. Her keel was laid at Seattle-Tacoma Shipbuilding Corporation on 13 November 1942. Launched on 21 April 1943, she entered service on 27 September 1943.

She was one of 14 ships of her class. The class followed the Long Island-class escort carrier and was succeeded by the Sangamon-class escort carrier.

Displacement was 7,800 long tons. She measured 150.9 m (495 ft) long with a beam of 21.0 m (69 ft). Her designed speed was 18 knots, and she carried a complement of 890.

Her main battery was 16 40 mm (1.6 in) guns. She carried twelve aircraft.

She served with the United States Navy as USS Jamaica until 27 September 1943. She then passed to the Royal Navy, serving as HMS Shah from 27 September 1943. She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 7 February 1946.

She was broken up for scrap in 1966.
