Natsushio was a Kagerō-class destroyer, operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her keel was laid at Fujinagata Shipyards, Osaka on 9 December 1937. She was launched on 23 February 1939.

She was one of 19 ships of her class. The class followed the Asashio-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Yūgumo-class destroyer.

Displacement was 2,033 long tons. She measured 118.5 m (389 ft) long with a beam of 10.8 m (35 ft). Her designed speed was 35.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 239.

Her main battery was six 127 mm (5 in) guns.

She was in commission for 911 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 28 February 1942.

She was sunk on 9 February 1942 by torpedo, at 5°10′S 119°24′E. The wreck survives.
