HMCS Athabaskan was a Tribal-class destroyer (1936) destroyer built for the Royal Canadian Navy. She carried the pennant number G07. Her keel was laid at Vickers-Armstrongs, High Walker on 31 October 1940. Launched on 15 November 1941, she entered service on 3 February 1943.

She was one of 24 ships of her class. The class followed the I-class destroyer and was succeeded by the J class.

Displacement was 1,850 long tons. She measured 114.9 m (377 ft) long with a beam of 11.3 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 190.

Her main battery was six 119 mm (4.7 in) guns in three twin mountings. Her machinery developed 44,000 shp.

She was in commission for 450 days of the Second World War.

She was sunk on 29 April 1944 by torpedo, at 48°43′N 4°32′W. The wreck survives.
