Ro-35 was a submarine of the Kaichū type submarine (K7 subclass), operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her keel was laid at Mitsubishi, Kobe, Japan on 9 October 1941. She entered service on 25 March 1943, having been launched on 4 June 1942.

The boat displaced 1,115 long tons surfaced and 1,447 long tons submerged. She measured 80.5 m (264 ft) long with a beam of 7 m (23 ft). Her designed speed was 19.8 knots.

Her main battery was one 76 mm (3 in) guns. Her machinery developed 4,200 bhp.

She was in commission for 251 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 1 December 1943.

She was sunk on 25 August 1943, at 12°57′S 164°23′E. The wreck survives.
