USS Smartt was a Evarts-class destroyer escort of the United States Navy. Her keel was laid at Boston Navy Yard on 10 January 1943. Launched on 22 February 1943, she entered service on 18 June 1943.

Her class ran to 67 ships. The class followed the N/A and was succeeded by the Buckley-class destroyer escort.
