Le Conquérant was a Redoutable-class submarine in service with the Marine Nationale. She carried the pennant number Q171. The ship was named after Conqueror. Her keel was laid at Ateliers et Chantiers de Saint-Nazaire Penhoët, Saint-Nazaire, France on 16 August 1930. She entered service on 7 September 1936, having been launched on 26 June 1934.
