HMS Centurion was a King George V-class battleship dreadnought battleship in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number 1911. She was named for Roman centurion. Her keel was laid at HM Dockyard, Devonport on 16 January 1911. Launched on 18 November 1911, she entered service on 22 May 1913.
30 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Nelson-class battleship and was succeeded by the Lion-class battleship.
She displaced 25,420 long tons. She measured 182.0 m (597 ft) long with a beam of 27.1 m (89 ft). Her designed speed was 21 knots, and she carried a complement of 862.
Her main battery was ten 343 mm (13.5 in) guns in five twin mountings. Her machinery developed 27,000 shp.
She was decommissioned in 1924.
She was sunk on 7 June 1944. The wreck survives.
