HMS Sturdy was a S-class destroyer (1917) destroyer in service with the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number 1919. Scotts, Greenock laid her keel in April 1918. She entered service on 8 October 1919, having been launched on 26 June 1919.
She was one of 111 ships of her class.
Displacement was 1,000 long tons standard and 1,220 long tons at full load. She measured 80.8 m (265 ft) long with a beam of 7.9 m (26 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 90. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
