HNLMS Banckert was a Admiralen-class destroyer, operated by the Royal Netherlands Navy. She carried the pennant number 1929. She was named for Adriaen Banckert. Her keel was laid at RotterdamBurgerhout's Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek, Rotterdam on 15 August 1928. She entered service on 14 November 1930, having been launched on 14 November 1929.
She was one of eight ships of her class. The class followed the Wolf-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Gerard Callenburgh-class destroyer.
She displaced 1,316 long tons. She measured 98.2 m (322 ft) long with a beam of 9.5 m (31 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 143.
Her main battery was four 120 mm (4.7 in) guns. She carried one aircraft. Her machinery developed 31,000 shp.
She served with the Royal Netherlands Navy as Banckert until 5 March 1947. She then passed to the Imperial Japanese Navy, serving as Patrol Boat No. 106 from 20 April 1944. She was in commission for 2,693 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 5 March 1947.
