Zeffiro was a Turbine-class destroyer, operated by the Regia Marina. She carried the pennant number 1927. She was named for Zeffiro. Ansaldo, Genoa laid her keel on 29 April 1925. She was launched on 27 May 1927.
Her class ran to eight ships. The class followed the Sauro-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Navigatori-class destroyer.
She displaced 1,073 long tons standard and 1,673 long tons at full load. She measured 93.2 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 9.2 m (30 ft). Her designed speed was 33 knots, and she carried a complement of 179.
Her main battery was four 120 mm (4.7 in) guns in two twin mountings. 40,000 shp drove two shafts.
She was in commission for 308 days of the Second World War.
She was sunk on 5 July 1940 by aircraft. The wreck survives.
