S-7 was a submarine of the S-class submarine (Series IX-bis) of the Soviet Navy. Her keel was laid at Krasnoye Sormovo, Gorkiy on 14 December 1936. She entered service on 30 June 1940, having been launched on 5 April 1937.

She was one of 111 ships of her class.

The boat displaced 842 long tons surfaced and 1,073 long tons submerged. She measured 77.8 m (255 ft) long with a beam of 6.4 m (21 ft). Her designed speed was 18.9 knots, and she carried a complement of 45.

She was in commission for 845 days of the Second World War.

She was sunk on 21 October 1942. The wreck survives.
