USS Davison was a Gleaves-class destroyer in service with the United States Navy. The ship was named after Gregory C. Davison. Federal Shipbuilding and Drydock Company laid her keel on 26 February 1942. Launched on 19 July 1942, she entered service on 11 September 1942.

66 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Benson-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Fletcher-class destroyer.

Displacement was 1,630 long tons. She measured 106.1 m (348 ft) long with a beam of 11.0 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 37.4 knots, and she carried a complement of 276.

Her main battery was five 127 mm (5 in) guns.

She was in commission for 1,087 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 24 June 1949. She was struck from the register on 15 January 1972.

She was broken up for scrap on 27 August 1973.
