USS S-45 was a S-class submarine of the United States Navy. Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation, Quincy, Massachusetts laid her keel on 29 December 1920. She entered service on 31 March 1925, having been launched on 26 June 1923.
She was one of 111 ships of her class.
The boat displaced 850 long tons surfaced and 1,126 long tons submerged. She measured 68.6 m (225 ft) long with a beam of 6.1 m (20 ft). Her designed speed was 14.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 42.
Her main battery was one 102 mm (4 in) guns.
She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 30 October 1945. She was struck from the register on 13 November 1945.
She was broken up for scrap in December 1946.
