HMS Melbreak was a Hunt-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy. Her keel was laid at J. Samuel White, East Cowes, Isle of Wight on 23 June 1941. She entered service on 10 October 1942, having been launched on 5 March 1942.
24 ships of the class were built.
Displacement was 1,050 long tons standard and 1,435 long tons at full load. She measured 85.3 m (280 ft) long with a beam of 10.2 m (33 ft). Her designed speed was 27 knots, and she carried a complement of 168. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
She was in commission for 1,058 days of the Second World War.
She was broken up for scrap in 1956.
