USS Eberle was a Gleaves-class destroyer, operated by the United States Navy. The ship was named after Edward Walter Eberle. Bath Iron Works laid her keel on 12 April 1939. Launched on 14 September 1940, she entered service on 4 December 1940.
Her class ran to 66 ships. The class followed the Benson-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Fletcher-class destroyer.
Displacement was 1,630 long tons. She measured 106.1 m (348 ft) long with a beam of 11.0 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 37.4 knots, and she carried a complement of 276.
Her main battery was five 127 mm (5 in) guns.
She served with the United States Navy as USS Eberle until 3 June 1946. She then passed to the Hellenic Navy, serving as Niki from 22 January 1951. She was in commission for 1,733 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 3 June 1946. She was struck from the register on 24 January 1951.
She was broken up for scrap in 1972.
