HMCS St. Boniface was a destroyer escort of the Algerine-class minesweeper, operated by the Royal Canadian Navy. She carried the pennant number J332. The ship was named after Saint Boniface. Port Arthur Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. laid her keel on 21 May 1942. Launched on 5 November 1942, she entered service on 9 October 1943.
14 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Bangor-class minesweeper and was succeeded by the Ton-class minesweeper.
She displaced 1,030 long tons standard and 1,325 long tons at full load. She measured 68.6 m (225 ft) long with a beam of 10.7 m (35 ft). Her designed speed was 16.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 85. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
