HMCS Wallaceburg was a destroyer escort of the Algerine-class minesweeper, operated by the Royal Canadian Navy. She carried the pennant number J-336. She was named for Wallaceburg. Her keel was laid at Port Arthur Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Port Arthur on 6 July 1942. Launched on 17 December 1942, she entered service on 18 November 1943.

14 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Bangor-class minesweeper and was succeeded by the Ton-class minesweeper.

Displacement was 1,030 long tons standard and 1,325 long tons at full load. She measured 68.6 m (225 ft) long with a beam of 10.7 m (35 ft). Her designed speed was 16.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 97. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.

2,400 ihp drove two shafts.

She served with the Royal Canadian Navy as Wallaceburg until 24 September 1957. She was in commission for 654 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 7 October 1946. She recommissioned on 1 November 1950. She was struck from the register on 23 December 1970.

She was broken up for scrap.
