HMS Montgomery was a Wickes-class destroyer in service with the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number G95. She was named for Lambert Wickes. Bath Iron Works laid her keel on 26 June 1917. Launched on 25 June 1918, she entered service on 31 July 1918.

She was one of 104 ships of her class. The class followed the Caldwell-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Clemson-class destroyer.

Displacement was 1,247 long tons. She measured 95.7 m (314 ft) long with a beam of 9.1 m (30 ft). She carried a complement of 100.

She served with the United States Navy as USS Wickes until 8 January 1941. She then passed to the Royal Navy, serving as HMS Montgomery from 23 October 1940. She was in commission for 2,125 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 15 May 1922. She recommissioned on 26 April 1930. She was struck from the register on 8 January 1941.

She was broken up for scrap on 10 April 1945.
