Aviere was a Soldati-class destroyer, operated by the Regia Marina. She carried the pennant number 1937. She was named for Aviator. O.T.O., Livorno laid her keel on 16 January 1937. She was launched on 19 September 1937.
She was one of 17 ships of her class. The class followed the Oriani-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Comandanti Medaglie d'Oro-class destroyer.
Displacement was 1,850 long tons standard and 2,550 long tons at full load. She measured 106.7 m (350 ft) long with a beam of 10.2 m (33 ft). Her designed speed was 35 knots, and she carried a complement of 206.
Her main battery was four 120 mm (4.7 in) guns in two twin mountings. 48,000 shp drove two shafts.
She was in commission for 1,203 days of the Second World War.
She was sunk on 17 December 1942 by torpedo. The wreck survives.
