Granatiere was a Soldati-class destroyer in service with the Regia Marina. She carried the pennant number 1938. The ship was named after Grenadier. Cantieri Navali Riuniti, Palermo laid her keel on 5 April 1937. She was launched on 24 April 1938.
Her class ran to 17 ships. The class followed the Oriani-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Comandanti Medaglie d'Oro-class destroyer.
She displaced 1,850 long tons standard and 2,550 long tons at full load. She measured 106.7 m (350 ft) long with a beam of 10.2 m (33 ft). Her designed speed was 38 knots, and she carried a complement of 206.
Her main battery was four 120 mm (4.7 in) guns in two twin mountings. 48,000 shp drove two shafts.
She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War. She was struck from the register on 1 July 1958.
She was broken up for scrap in 1958.
