I-369 was a Type D1 submarine in service with the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her keel was laid at Yokosuka Navy Yard, Yokosuka, Japan on 1 September 1943. She entered service on 9 October 1944, having been launched on 9 March 1944.

The boat displaced 1,440 long tons surfaced and 2,215 long tons submerged. She measured 73.5 m (241 ft) long with a beam of 8.9 m (29 ft). Her designed speed was 13 knots, and she carried a complement of 55.

Her main battery was one 140 mm (5.5 in) guns.

She was in commission for 323 days of the Second World War.
