USS Bradford was a Fletcher-class destroyer, operated by the United States Navy. The ship was named after Gamaliel Bradford. Her keel was laid at Bethlehem Shipbuilding, San Pedro, California on 28 April 1942. Launched on 12 December 1942, she entered service on 12 June 1943.

173 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Gleaves-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer.

She displaced 2,050 long tons. She measured 114.6 m (376 ft) long with a beam of 11.9 m (39 ft). Her designed speed was 35 knots, and she carried a complement of 329. Her main battery was of 127 mm (5 in) calibre.

She served with the United States Navy as USS Bradford (DD-545) until 28 September 1961. She then passed to the Hellenic Navy, serving as Thyella (D28) from 27 September 1962. She was in commission for 813 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 28 September 1961. She was struck from the register on 1 September 1975.

She was broken up for scrap.
