USS Crowninshield was a Wickes-class destroyer, operated by the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number I35. Her keel was laid at Bath Iron Works on 5 November 1918. Launched on 24 July 1919, she entered service on 6 August 1919.
104 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Caldwell-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Clemson-class destroyer.
Displacement was 1,090 long tons. She measured 95.7 m (314 ft) long with a beam of 9.4 m (31 ft). Her designed speed was 35 knots, and she carried a complement of 100. Her main battery was of 102 mm (4.0 in) calibre.
