USS Niblack was a Gleaves-class destroyer in service with the United States Navy. The ship was named after Albert Parker Niblack. Her keel was laid at Bath Iron Works on 8 August 1938. Launched on 18 May 1940, she entered service on 1 August 1940.

66 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Benson-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Fletcher-class destroyer.

She displaced 1,839 long tons standard and 2,395 long tons at full load. She measured 106.1 m (348 ft) long with a beam of 11.0 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 35 knots, and she carried a complement of 276.

Her main battery was four 127 mm (5 in) guns.

She was in commission for 1,858 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned in June 1946. She was struck from the register on 31 July 1968.

She was broken up for scrap on 16 August 1973.
