I-366 was a Type D1 submarine in service with the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her keel was laid at Kure Naval Arsenal, Kure, Japan on 26 August 1943. She entered service on 3 August 1944, having been launched on 9 March 1944.
The boat displaced 1,440 long tons surfaced and 2,215 long tons submerged. She measured 73.5 m (241 ft) long with a beam of 8.9 m (29 ft). Her designed speed was 13 knots, and she carried a complement of 55.
Her main battery was one 140 mm (5.5 in) guns.
She was in commission for 395 days of the Second World War.
She was scuttled in September 1945. The wreck survives.
