Vasilefs Georgios was a G and H-class destroyer of the Hellenic Navy. She was named for King George I of Greece. Her keel was laid at Yarrow & Company, Scotstoun in February 1937. She entered service on 15 February 1939, having been launched on 3 March 1938.
23 ships of the class were built. The class followed the E and F-class destroyer and was succeeded by the I-class destroyer.
Displacement was 1,349 long tons standard and 1,849 long tons at full load. She measured 97.5 m (320 ft) long with a beam of 9.7 m (32 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 162.
Her main battery was four 127 mm (5 in) guns. Her machinery developed 34,000 shp through two shafts.
She served with the Hellenic Navy as Vasilefs Georgios (ΒΠ Βασιλεύς Γεώργιος) until 20 April 1941. She then passed to the Kriegsmarine, serving as ZG3 from 21 March 1942. She was in commission for 1,009 days of the Second World War.
She was scuttled on 7 May 1943, at 36°46′N 10°21′E. The wreck survives.
