HMS H6 was a H-class submarine in service with the Royal Navy. Canadian Vickers, Montreal laid her keel in 1914. Launched on 12 May 1915, she entered service on 10 June 1915.
She was one of 23 ships of her class. The class followed the E and F-class destroyer and was succeeded by the I-class destroyer.
The boat displaced 364 long tons surfaced and 434 long tons submerged. She measured 45.7 m (150 ft) long with a beam of 4.6 m (15 ft). Her designed speed was 13 knots, and she carried a complement of 22.
She served with the Royal Navy as HMS H6 until 4 May 1917. She then passed to the Royal Netherlands Navy, serving as HNLMS O 8 from 7 May 1917. She then passed to the Kriegsmarine, serving as UD-1 from 21 November 1940. She was in commission for 1,353 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 23 November 1943.
She was scuttled on 3 May 1945. The wreck survives.
