HMS Havock was a H-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy. She carried the pennant number H43. Her keel was laid at William Denny & Brothers, Dumbarton on 15 May 1935. She was launched in July 1936.
23 ships of the class were built. The class followed the E and F-class destroyer and was succeeded by the I-class destroyer.
She displaced 1,350 long tons standard and 1,883 long tons at full load. She measured 98.5 m (323 ft) long with a beam of 10.1 m (33 ft). Her designed speed was 36 knots, and she carried a complement of 137.
