USS Charles J. Badger was a Fletcher-class destroyer, operated by the United States Navy. The ship was named after Charles J. Badger. Her keel was laid at Bethlehem Shipbuilding Company, Staten Island on 24 September 1942. Launched on 3 April 1943, she entered service on 23 July 1943.

173 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Gleaves-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer.
