USS O'Reilly was a Edsall-class destroyer escort built for the United States Navy. The ship was named after Edward Joseph O'Reilly. Consolidated Steel Corporation, Orange, Texas laid her keel on 29 July 1943. Launched on 2 October 1943, she entered service on 28 December 1943.

Her class ran to 78 ships. The class followed the Cannon-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the Rudderow-class destroyer escort.

She displaced 1,253 long tons standard and 1,590 long tons at full load. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.2 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 21 knots, and she carried a complement of 209.

Her main battery was three 76 mm (3 in) guns.

She was in commission for 614 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 15 June 1946. She was struck from the register on 15 January 1971.

She was broken up for scrap on 10 April 1972.
