USS Pride was a Edsall-class destroyer escort of the United States Navy. She was named for Lewis Bailey Pride. Her keel was laid at Consolidated Steel Corporation, Orange, Texas on 12 April 1943. She entered service on 13 November 1943, having been launched on 3 July 1943.
78 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Cannon-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the Rudderow-class destroyer escort.
Displacement was 1,253 long tons standard and 1,590 long tons at full load. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.2 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 21 knots, and she carried a complement of 209.
Her main battery was three 76 mm (3 in) guns.
