USS Ramsden was a Edsall-class destroyer escort, operated by the United States Navy. The ship was named after Marvin Lee Ramsden. Her keel was laid at Brown Shipbuilding, Houston, Texas on 26 March 1943. Launched on 24 May 1943, she entered service on 19 October 1943.
78 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Cannon-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the Rudderow-class destroyer escort.
Displacement was 1,253 long tons standard and 1,590 long tons at full load. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.2 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 21 knots, and she carried a complement of 209.
