USS Vallejo was a destroyer escort of the Tacoma-class frigate built for the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number PG-205. The ship was named after City of Lorain. She was built by American Shipbuilding Company, Lorain, Ohio.
76 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Asheville-class patrol frigate and was succeeded by the none.
