USS Dogfish was a Balao-class diesel-electric submarine of the United States Navy. Her keel was laid at Electric Boat Company, Groton, Connecticut on 22 June 1944. Launched on 27 October 1945, she entered service on 29 April 1946.
111 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Gato-class submarine and was succeeded by the Tench-class submarine.
The boat displaced 1,526 long tons surfaced and 2,424 long tons submerged. She measured 94.8 m (311 ft) long with a beam of 8.2 m (27 ft). Her designed speed was 20.2 knots, and she carried a complement of 10. Her main battery was of 127 mm (5 in) calibre.
She served with the United States Navy as USS Dogfish (SS-350) until 28 July 1972. She then passed to the Brazilian Navy, serving as Guanabara (S-10) from 28 July 1972. She was struck from the register on 28 July 1972.
She was broken up for scrap in 1983.
