USS Lowe was a Edsall-class destroyer escort of the United States Navy. The ship was named after Harry James Lowe. Her keel was laid at Consolidated Steel Corporation, Orange, Texas on 24 May 1943. She entered service on 22 November 1943, having been launched on 28 July 1943.

78 ships of the class were built. The class followed the Cannon-class destroyer escort and was succeeded by the Rudderow-class destroyer escort.

Displacement was 1,253 long tons standard and 1,590 long tons at full load. She measured 93.3 m (306 ft) long with a beam of 11.2 m (37 ft). Her designed speed was 21 knots, and she carried a complement of 209.

Her main battery was three 76 mm (3 in) guns.

She was in commission for 650 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 20 September 1968. She was struck from the register on 23 September 1968.

She was broken up for scrap on 3 September 1969.
