USS MacKenzie was a Benson-class destroyer of the United States Navy. She carried the pennant number DD-614. The ship was named after Alexander Slidell MacKenzie. Bethlehem Shipbuilding, San Pedro, California laid her keel on 29 May 1941. She entered service on 21 November 1942, having been launched on 27 June 1942.

Her class ran to 30 ships. The class followed the Sims-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Gleaves-class destroyer.

She displaced 1,620 long tons. She measured 106.1 m (348 ft) long with a beam of 11.0 m (36 ft). Her designed speed was 37.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 259.

Her main battery was four 127 mm (5 in) guns.

She was in commission for 1,016 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 4 February 1946. She was struck from the register on 1 July 1971.

She was sunk on 1 June 1974. The wreck survives.
