HMS Colombo was a C-class cruiser light cruiser in service with the Royal Navy. Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company laid her keel on 8 December 1917. She entered service on 18 June 1919, having been launched on 18 December 1918.

40 ships of the class were built. The class followed the W and Z-class destroyer and was succeeded by the Weapon-class destroyer.

Displacement was 4,290 long tons. She measured 137.5 m (451 ft) long with a beam of 13.1 m (43 ft). Her designed speed was 29 knots, and she carried a complement of 432. Her main battery was of 152 mm (6.0 in) calibre.

Her machinery developed 40,000 shp.

She was in commission for 2,193 days of the Second World War.

She was broken up for scrap on 22 January 1948.
