USS Biloxi was a Cleveland-class cruiser light cruiser in service with the United States Navy. The ship was named after City of Biloxi. Her keel was laid at Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company, Newport News, Virginia on 9 July 1941. Launched on 23 February 1943, she entered service on 31 August 1943.
Her class ran to 23 ships. The class followed the Brooklyn-class cruiser and was succeeded by the Fargo-class cruiser.
She displaced 11,744 long tons standard and 14,131 long tons at full load. She measured 185.9 m (610 ft) long with a beam of 20.1 m (66 ft). Her designed speed was 32.5 knots, and she carried a complement of 1,285.
Her main battery was twelve 152 mm (6 in) guns. She carried four aircraft. Her machinery developed 100,000 shp.
She was in commission for 736 days of the Second World War. She was decommissioned on 29 August 1946. She was struck from the register on 1 December 1961.
She was broken up for scrap on 5 March 1962.
